Hello! Has anybody dealt with their baby having a posterior tongue tie and lip tie? Did you choose to have them released or did you leave it alone? I'm having a really hard time deciding what to do for my daughter. Your stories would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

My son had it and my husband and I decided to get the corrective procedure. It only took about 5-10 minutes.

This is such an important topic, especially as it relates to nursing. Thank you for bringing it up.

Hello! My son had both a lip and tongue tip. We decided to get them released. The procedure only took about 5 minutes! Ties can cause issues with speech development as well as rotting teeth. I think it's better to do it while they're young before it causes any issues. If you do get them released, be sure to be consistent with the exercises to avoid the tie from reoccurring.
