I'm sure this could be helpful for all of us... what are your favorite ways to decompress/ stay grounded/ reduce anxiety?!

Writing is a great stress reducer! Often times we need to simply vent rather than keep our thoughts pinned up. Although I do recommend timing your writing so that you don't go down a rabbit hole of negative thoughts. You can also write down things you're grateful for (like mentioned before) to get your mind back on the positive!

A great way is to ask for help, talk to people who are in similar situations and at the end of the day, a long hot shower really helps lol

A nice warm shower or bath, hanging out on the computer/watching youtube .. and I've just started working out! Even some nice stretches at night feels great!

I started doing meditation sessions and my daughter joined me. It reduces a lot of stress.

Meditation, yoga, tennis with the husband, reading a good book, date nights.. if I was more deathly I'd get massages all the time haha

Going on long runs has been amazing for my mental health. I was never a big runner but I kind of got hooked and now it's like a sort of meditation.

Baking. I enjoy baking so much that it is really relaxing to me. Other than that it was long quiet walks.

I agree with you on the nice warm shower. Put on a little music and just soak in the heat.

Walking around Target without kids and a hot bath.

I have to have my me time. It isn't any one particular thing but I need time that is uninterrupted and quiet to get the little stuff done, read, take a bath, just sit and mindlessly stare at the t.v., organize my kitchen. It really helps me clear my head to be alone in some way, I'm constantly dealing with people and talking from 6 am until 7 pm most days then family stuff. Quiet anything is welcome!
