I'd love to hear about all the difference in family sizes & what you think is the hardest part about having that number of kids!
I have 1 right now & I think the hardest part is trying to make sure he isn't too spoiled and trying to time when/if we will have another one!
I want two but we'll see after we have two if I want three. I'm scared to get my tubes tied, just in case I do want more children.
I only want two children. I want to afford the things they need. I want to buy them a car and help them pay for college. I don't think I can do that with four or five kids.
I have one child. I'd love to have another but can't due to medical reasons. I try to cherish every minute with him since I wont' be able to experience everything a second time around!
I think two. I couldn't imagine having a five-bedroom for my four kids. I think a three-bedroom house is reasonable.

I have 2, want more but have to figure out how that would be legistically possible! Our days are already so hectic. But when I watch the kids sleeping at night I smile and can't help but want another few.
Love this post! So cool to see the variety of responses. We have three and are open to more, and I came from a family of three and we never had that feeling of being left out, and I've known families of four where one felt more distant, I think it really depends on the family and the kids. My daughter says she would like 7 siblings and has listed all the names for us : )
I really think three has been much, much easier than 1 or 2, especially with my fiery first two! I'm pretty sure my daughter would have been running the show if it hadn't been for my son, and the two of them would always be fighting if it weren't for my third. I love the attention they give the baby and each other.
I always wanted 5, but then real life kicks in and you realize no way. But I have 4 and I love it. Seeing my kids interact as siblings and friends is amazing.
I want four. I want them in two sets. Baby 1 and baby 2 close in age and wait about four years, followed by another two close in age. Maybe two dogs, two cats, and some fish too. I look forward to a full house.
We wanted three and had three. We had a boy first. We were very young (teenagers) when he was born. We waited five years before having our second. We talked long before we had number two or number three to determine how many we wanted. We didn't care what the last two were girl/girl, boy/girl, girl/boy or boy/boy, we wanted healthy children close in age. Our last two ended up being two girls, 13 months apart. It was actually perfect for clothing and friendships. For a while we got away with a three-bedroom house, we did upgrade to a four-bedroom house so they all had their own room. I refused to buy a minivan, I've always driven a car. Let's be honest, kids are expensive. I'm very happy to with three.
I have one. And, I only plan on having one. I feel like I can give my all to one while being a working mom and continue to live a life that also is enjoyable. I'd be far too financially strapped with more than one child. I think it just depends on your lifestyle and income.
I'm an only child and right now have 2. I always thought I wanted 4 but I think we will probably have a 3rd and feel our family is complete. We love to travel and are very social people and we are ready to start doing big things with our family-this can be challenging while pregnant or nursing a newborn.
1 for now, and maybe a second. But just after getting married I already feel that pressure from family and that literally makes me want to say just 1 for now.

I grew up the second of five and LOVED having a big family. There was always someone to play with and now we are all super close and holidays are very fun. My husband and I have settled on four. We have 2 right now, 2 years apart, and love that age gap. I was a little frazzled at first going from 1 to 2, but I feel like after the first couple months we had a pretty good routine down and I'm really enjoying it now.
I was an only child and didn't really mind it until I got older. I have two and I'm done!
I have a 9 month old right now. I would like two children. I have a boy and I want a girl. The hardest part of caring for my son is changing diapers. The smell is atrocious. lol I want to wait a few years before trying for the girl.
we are ttc baby number 2 and i have no intention on stopping until i can't but hubs only wants 3
