We are here
Our Mission is to empower pregnant people and healthcare providers with the information they need to have healthy pregnancies and healthy babies.
Pregistry’s story begins with Dr. Diego Wyszynski, a leading pioneer in the field of maternal and neonatal health. He founded Pregistry with the vision of a world where all people and their health care providers have access to high-quality data about the reproductive risks of medicines and vaccines. In late 2022, Pregistry joined CorEvitas, expanding this vision.
Pregistry, an ecosystem of ideas, technology, and resources for the empowerment of maternal health worldwide was born.
Dr. Wyszynski assembles a world-class team of maternal health clinicians, IT professionals, communication specialists, and researchers who share his mission.
Pregistry evolved from a theoretical concept to reality, representing a renewed vision and commitment to creating the world’s largest online resource of information for pregnant and breastfeeding people and health care providers.
In collaboration with Harvard’s T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Pregistry creates the International Registry of Coronavirus Exposure in Pregnancy (IRCEP), one of the first studies jumpstarting the research of COVID in the maternal health space.
Pregistry’s international team was expanded and has published numerous scholarly articles in renowned medical journals. A dozen large pharmaceutical companies partnered with Pregistry to fulfill their regulatory requirements for pregnancy exposure registries and to make information accessible to pregnant people and health care professionals.
In November 2022, Pregistry is acquired by CorEvitas. Our combined teams develop novel strategies to analyze pregnancy data and offer new resources to our customers. With this synergy, parents and healthcare providers will have access to the information they need to support healthier pregnancies and babies.
Dr. Wyszynski’s main area of expertise is the assessment of drug and vaccine safety from observational data, with a special emphasis in the analysis of patterns of use and safety of drugs and vaccines during pregnancy. He received his medical degree from the University of Buenos Aires and Master and PhD degrees in Epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health. Dr. Wyszynski is a highly sought-after public speaker and the author of 3 books and more than 90 peer-reviewed medical articles. Before founding Pregistry in 2014, Dr. Wyszynski was Associate Professor of Medicine and of Epidemiology at Boston University and a pharmacovigilance professional for several pharmaceutical companies. Dr. Wyszynski is the Principal Investigator of the ongoing C-VIPER, COVID-PR, and PIPER studies and of many completed studies. He is based in London, England.
