My first baby only wore Huggies. And I have no complaints - I love their snugglers and little mover diapers. But I really haven't tried other options except for cheap off brands here and there (which were not good!). Am I missing out? It would be nice to pay less but I don't think I can give up the quality, but I'm just curious what diapers y'all use?

I love Huggies. My runner up is Pampers. The cheaper diapers are cheaper... but you pay for quality. I've cleaned way too many peed-through diapers from bargain brands that couldn't keep up with my boys overnight. I feel like they cost more in the long run because of the added clean up.

So far I'm a Pampers Mama. I like Huggies as well. Cheap off brands are a no go in my house!

Carrie posted this 25 March 2019

Huggies for sure!!! Pampers are gross to me - they get so squishy feeling. And they smell bad always. I like that Huggies are soft and great quality. I've been really happy with them.

Jessica posted this 25 March 2019

Huggies for me too. And the pricier ones are way better than the snug and dry ones. For me its worth it but the snug and dry are good in a pinch too.

Samyra posted this 25 March 2019

Omg yes I cant stand the smell of Pampers! They smell like breastfed baby poop to me even when they’re not dirty.

Honestly I think my favorite are Costco Kirkland brand. They are so much easier to use, they don't rip or break on the sides, no blowouts so far with them, and are softer and more comfortable for my baby. And tons cheaper. I do not care for the name brands they always broke on me and were always different sizes. I got two boxes of Huggies size 2 and each were different sizes!

Pampers are my favorite! My babies have never had problems with them. I tried Huggies and they just seemed super saggy and I always thought they were full when they weren’t.

Chelsea posted this 06 May 2019

I love Up & Up from Target!

I haven’t had any blowout poos, haven’t had any leaks and they’re cute! I like to save money and usually stick to store brands, but I tried Walmart’s Parents’ Choice diapers and those did not work for us at all! They leaked right away. I couldn’t even finish a package. I was pretty upset.

Grace posted this 06 May 2019

It honestly depended for my kids. My son wore Luvs the entire time he was in diapers. I tried Walmart and Target brand, and they leaked all over him. My daughter could use those store brands, but Pampers were also great with her. Always depends on the little babe!

Betty posted this 07 May 2019

I like huggies, luvs had too sting of a smell

Mary posted this 07 May 2019

Another vote for Up & Up from Target. Their overnights are amazing, and we started using the daytime and haven't had leak issues.

shonta posted this 08 May 2019

I used to love pampers but I've recently started purchasing Up & Up I agree they are amazing for over night!

Ami posted this 08 May 2019

Pampers for sure (for boys anyway)! Only brand my son doesn't leak through! Now they have pull up diapers which are awesome for those babies/toddlers who are awful with diaper changes...changed my life!

Aisha posted this 10 May 2019

Pampers are my premium choice but Kirkland from Costco and Up and Up are my  2nd option Huggies were good too! But overnight had to be Pampers.

Tasha posted this 31 May 2019

Luvs! I've used them with both my kids, and they're definitely my favorite. They're a lot cheaper than pampers, and my daughter who easily got rashes never had a problem with Luvs

Erin posted this 31 May 2019

Pampers! Absolutely love them. They are dependable and prevent diaper rash.

Melissa posted this 31 May 2019

Pampers it is ! The hospital provided Pampers when my baby was delivered, and we just never thought of another brand.

Mama posted this 31 May 2019

I wanted to say Pampers, but I recently tried Parent's Choice and loved it. With pampers, when there is a blowout, sometimes there are poop leaks from the top of the diaper (back side). I hardly experienced this with Parent's Choice diapers.

Hannah posted this 01 June 2019

Love Pampers. I think I am just a stickler and this thread is helping me move towards another brand possibly.

Christie posted this 01 June 2019

I loved Pampers BUT once I discovered Target brand diapers there was no going back. They work well which is important to note because I had used non brand name diapers before and all were awful! Until I discovered Targets brand. AND they are half the price of brand names ones!

Pampers is my most favorite brand. When I had my first daughter I experimented with a variety of diapers (i.e. Huggies, Luvs, etc.). She seemed to be uncomfortable with Luvs and she got a really bad rash using Huggies. Pampers seems to be the one that stuck. The answer was simple. She was comfortable and no irritating rashes, so for me, Pampers was and will continue to be the way to go.

Erin posted this 14 June 2019

Luvs and Up and Up from Target! Pampers are nice and soft, but so expensive! The others were just as absorbent and my kids have never had any problems with irritation or anything like that.

Haley posted this 21 July 2019

You have to try hello bello! They are even cheaper than huggies and pampers and they are made without all the crazy chemicals. So far I have loved them.

Lily posted this 22 July 2019

Pampers are the go to! Love how they fit and how dependable they are !

Hello Bello are cute, soft, cheap, and made with natural ingredients!

love the way huggies snuggle us just right!

Jessica posted this 22 August 2019

We love hello bello! so cute and so soft. but we have also had luck with target & Costco brand.

Sarah posted this 22 August 2019

target. affordable and they never leak for us

Jessica posted this 22 August 2019

Love pampers. Expensive, but the only brand that did NOT make our babe break out in diaper rash! I have heard good thing about the seventh generation brand too!

Rachele posted this 27 August 2019

Huggies are the best!!

gerry posted this 28 August 2019

pampers or walmart are awesome

Misha posted this 31 August 2019

I love Huggies Little Movers because they really moved with my babies. Made it easy to keep things in there. Then when they were potty training I switched to Pampers Easy Ups because they were so soft.

Sasha posted this 31 August 2019

I use Kirkland brand diapers. They work well for me and I haven't had any issues with them. If I had to choose a mainstream brand I would pick Pampers because they are so soft. I'm planning on using Pampers Easy Ups for potty training.

Aisha posted this 17 September 2019

I need a good night's sleep where possible so I'm willing to pay extra for Pampers so I can sleep without worry of blowouts leaks etc. I'm interested in Hello Bello... gonna look into that brand. I'm not so picky about day time diapers that get changed more regularly.

Marie posted this 18 September 2019

I use pampers pure. My daughter has very sensitive skin and these work great for us. We also use the water wipes. Basically anything that isn't scented.

Maggie posted this 18 September 2019

I love Costco's Kirkland brand!  They are very similar to Huggies, but cheaper.  I've never had any issues with them.  On a side note, I love their baby wipes, too!

Carmen posted this 30 September 2019

Cassie posted this 11 October 2019

I'm another vote for Target's Up & Up brand (especially the Overnights). I've never had a leakage issue, and they're cheaper than the name brands.

Nicole posted this 11 October 2019

I loveee honest company, super soft and adorable prints.

Janelle posted this 11 November 2019

Mine has been Huggies Snug and Dry.  They really wick away moisture from my baby and have so much absorbency!

Maddie posted this 11 November 2019

I like Pampers.  Luvs when they were toddlers because they were cheaper.  But Pampers when they were infants.  Huggies leaked with all 3 of my kiddos.

Liz posted this 11 November 2019

I use always my baby because some of the name brands make him break out. He must be allergic to something

Derek posted this 11 November 2019

Huggies hold better and don't leak.

Sam posted this 17 November 2019

My favorite dipper brand is Huggies or loves and that's the brands both my daughters wear they couldn't wear the cheap brand so I had to use Huggies or loves brand

Sadie posted this 17 November 2019

We are a Pampers family. They used them in the hospital my kids were delivered at so we continued to use them. I have pretty much tried every brand of diapers and I like Pampers because they are absorbant but not bulky (and they have the blue line when they are wet which is very helpful).

Becky posted this 18 November 2019

I put diapers in 2 categories: (1) Night time diapers which are also good for outings and (2) hanging out at the house diapers.

I will spend more money on category one because sleep is invaluable and also not having blowouts when you are out running errands or at a friends house.

Category 2 diapers are mid grade and do the job but won't work for overnight or trips around town.

Pampers = Category 1 (the most reliable diaper)

Kirkland, Huggies and Up and Up = Category 2 reliable but not quite premium quality.

Pampers are more expensive but are most reliable. As long as they aren't 'baby dry' pampers which give my kids a wicked rash. Some mysterious diaper chemical must be in them. Huggies are a second runner up and work well for some babies depending on the urine and fecal output. Up and Up has some nice stretchy tabs that hug the babies just so for a perfect fit but those 3 are may faves in order of priority.

Michelle posted this 19 November 2019

I feel like MANY or even most parents I have/do know have said Pampers but we have done Huggies.  I can't really say why other than we get most of our diaper supply from Costco Wholesale and it's either Huggies or Costco Kirkland brand there.  We started off with the Kirkland to save money when our little one was a newborn, but those seemed to dry out his area/bum so we switched.  It was a first time parent quick decision and we never looked back haha.

Chris posted this 20 November 2019

Huggies and loves there my favorite brand of dippers

allis posted this 20 November 2019

Huggies will always be my favorite diaper brand but I have not had an issue with any brand leaking to be honest. They seem to hold up fine and do the job so if you just need to save extra money I would check out the target brand ones. I used those and they never leaked once. They are a little thinner but if anything, that just makes it easier to store.

Brandy posted this 20 November 2019

We absolutely loved Seventh Generation. Everything else we tried seemed to leak or not work for some reason. Don't fall for those gimicky diapers that have a spot that changes color if the diaper is wet. They change when there is one drop of wetness in the diaper, so you are tricked into changing baby more often than you need to. We tried those and suddenly we were going through diapers like crazy.

Michelle posted this 13 February 2020

We have used Huggies from Costco. Costco brand gave baby rashes, but could have been a coincidence.

Polyana posted this 24 February 2020

Huggies- Snug & Dry have been the best diapers for us. We tried the Pampers and Luv brands, but they both leaked pretty bad. I was changing outfits like crazy...so Huggies is the only brand that we buy now, and they have the color strip so you know when they've urinated-- the BEST!!

Mina posted this 26 February 2020

Seriously, Costco diapers are the best quality we've found and they are a deal. Only problem is they come in packs of ~180 so you've got a huge box sitting around, but the savings is worth it.

Kaitlin posted this 26 March 2020

I've heard great things about Costco diapers however, I haven't heard anything good about the Target or Cloud Island diapers. I think diapers are one of the items that it is worth paying a little bit more because when we sacrifice quality we usually end up paying more for diaper rash supplies, etc.

Amanda posted this 31 March 2020

Amazon has their own brand, Mama Bear. They are great diapers and really affordable! Plus they come in large quantities and ship right to your door pretty quickly. Love them
