I love seeing children develop into their personality and how honest they are. Would love to hear some stories. I can't wait to experience this for myself!

My son went through a naughty stage around five. He didn't want to listen to anyone. He was jealous of his little sister and acting out was his way of getting attention. Regardless of the reasoning, it drove me nuts to have this little tyrant while dealing with a fussy baby too. Well one day he'd brought a basketball inside and was dribbling it. The baby was napping so I told him to stop. He of course kept doing it. I ended up taking the ball and sending him to his room for timeout. He was pretty quiet in there (normally he'd carry on) so I peeked my head in. I saw him packing up his clothes in one of those big reusable fabric grocery bags. I watched him for a few seconds at the door before asking him what he was doing. He looked me dead in the eye and said "I'm going to go stay with MomMom. I'm tired of your crap." Totally disrespectful but still makes me laugh to this day. He was so serious! He still says some stuff that makes me chuckle but that takes the cake.

OMG!!! As I read this it made me laugh soo hard! I am going through this with my oldest one. She's doing all of the things you mentioned and when I tell her something she tells me I am being rude and she is going to tell daddy. It's terrible! lol

I'm a little over 30 weeks at this point so obviously I've grown and gained some weight (30 pounds). My six year old son was watching me fold laundry the other day closely. He never usually pays attention so it was weird... eventually I asked him what he was looking at because it was so out of character. He looked at me and said "Mama, how much bigger are you going to get? None of those clothes are going to fit!". He said it in the most earnest, concerned manner. Normally I'd probably burst into tears out of embarrassment but it was too dang sweet/funny.

My nephew once wouldn't give me a goodbye kiss when he was 3ish. I asked him why and he told me "next time. I love you, but your mouth is stinky." I'd just had garlic bomb of a pasta dish. Poor little guy.
LOL that's a great story! How do you handle moments when they are being naughty but you also find it funny?

Oh my goodness these are so sweet/funny! My nephew loves to look at pictures on my phone and one time he was scrolling through and found a picture of my parents (his grandparents) at the beach. He looks up at me and touches the screen on grandpa's belly and says: "Does grandpa have a baby in his belly?" I nearly choked and made him promise to never ask grandpa that directly. 😂
I was chilling on the couch with my slippers on. i had my feet on the couch,my 3 year old told me to get my feet on the floor. lol
My granddaughter says mommy is having twins, a girl for her, a boy for daddy, I asked what mommy gets and she said, umm nothing. lol
My eldest always gave me that same sass! Still does!
Funniest recent one was at a Halloween trunk-or-treat. We walked by the side of a car on the way to the set up that was pretty messy. Like piles of clothes and stuff. My son took one look at the car and then to me and said "We're skipping that one, right?" I about peed myself right there from laughing.

My son is 1 and a half and going through a hitting stage. He hits his baby brother who is 2 months old without warning. I know hes at the stage where hit, throwing, and expressing himself with actions is normal. He does have his sweet side too where he will go up to his baby brother and smother him in kisses. His hitting is random and sometimes so sudden its hard to catch. He loves running after the dogs he thinks the dogs are playing but they're just ruining away from him.
The majority of the time I just shake my head and laugh in my head. I do the same thing when they're brutally honest.
