My 9 month old has never slept through the night once!  He is teething really badly right now, so we give him Tylenol or Motrin before bed.  But when it wears off, he wakes up frequently.  I am only doing one night feeding at around 3 AM--I have recently dropped the others.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  Lately I go into his room 5 or 6 times a night to comfort him!

I've done the old fashioned ways with the frozen teething toys, and it worked wonders for my little darling.

Pure vanilla extract on the gums can help relieve pain. I agree with Samantha that warm bottles do help. Orajel makes a non-medicated gel that does help sooth during the day and at night. They are two separate tubes. The only other thing I can think of is leave him with a teething toy to use. Like the glove or a round water filled one. He cannot hurt it as they are large objects. That way if he wakes it is there for comfort. My daughter chews the silicone nipple of her passy to soothe her teeth.

Coconut oil and clove help a lot with teething and nuby has a great gel that you can apply to his gums throughout the day and before bed. Give warm bottles and a warm bath before bed if you can-- this should relax him for a good nights rest.

My son still sleeps with me and is 11 months so I can not give much of good advice 😭

Have you tried a pacifier at night? Sometimes that's just all they need to get to sleep.

I agree with Megan, try sleeping with him (I promise he be spoiled) or let dad (anyone else if around) take turns in comforting him.. this too shall pass

My first didn't sleep until well over a year (I know not much help). Honestly I couldn't take it anymore and just let him sleep with me which helped. I know a lot of people don't agree with that but I was exhausted.

We have used homeopathic remedies for teething with a lot of success. Calc Carb 30c - I dissolve a pellet in water and then put just one drop in his bottle (or even on his tongue). has helped my son many times over the years. It's known to help in cases of slow, painful teething. I hope your little guy gets some relief soon (and you, too!)
