My husband was FURIOUS!
Haha, just kidding. He was over the moon. He had been wanting a child for a while and I was putting it off. How did your husband react?
My husband was a little nervous, but still happy. Our neighbors got pregnant around the same time and her husband was NOT happy. He already has a 21-year-old son and they'd promised each other they wouldn't have children when they got married. Her husband has gained significant weight and gone into depression, but it seems he might be coming out the other side of it now. He seems happier these days.
He was a bit coy about it. We weren't in the same city at the time so I had to tell him over Facetime. HA! I wish I'd have recorded it because his facial expressions were hilarious.
He was happy about all of ours. He would be happy about a fifth one. 😂 Nope.
Mine has had mixed reactions. He was really happy with the first 2, but pretty nervous with the third because we’d just moved, bought a new house, hadn’t sold the last one, starting a new job...it was just a crazy time!
My husband was shocked we were only together for 2 months, yes big shock!!! But after we loved every bit of it!
My husband is 18 and I’m 17, so we were both shocked. I was on birth control and I was having trouble with ovarian cysts. My doctor switched my birth control about three times to try and alleviate them and then bomb, I was pregnant.
Mine was nervous but ready to be a dad!(:
Due to our circumstances mine wasn’t thrilled but he’s definitely came around!
We were 21. Newly married and I had a brand new job and not a lot of money. He was not excited at first but he came around
I think he was more excited than me ahaha!
My husband was shocked but it didn’t last long!
Mine wasn’t very happy and we split a few months after finding out
My husband found out with me at a dr visit and we were absolutely thrilled. He is such an amazing caring guy. Im so glad the father up my children is so supportive and active in my kids life. I am truly blessed.
My husband and I went out to eat for icecream when I told him. I started a bawling like a big happy baby right there in the middle of the icecream shop!
My husband didn't believe me because we had JUST been talking about starting to try and I got pregnant right away. I had to pee on sticks for a week until he accepted it LOL. He kept saying the lines were not strong enough and what not. But he was happy, just stunned.
We want two kids and this is my second baby, so he's happy!
He was ecstatic! We only want one child and we have our precious baby boy!
He got drunk and fell asleep lol. He was happy about it the next day
MY husband was happy all times . lol it was more when he found out our second was another girl he was a little bummed out .
My husband was happy , I just wish I had done something cute for when I told him for the first since it was unexpected. I think now that we are trying lol it wont be so fun doing something cute to tell him ,
the outside was very supportive and calm and kind of interested in the whole process, which told me he was actually really nervous and scared lol
He was shocked and so so happy
He was super excited. He's been great this whole time and supportive even when I'm acting like Godzilla. lol
He was totally supportive. It takes two to tango, after all. We've always discussed having more than two kids so he was totally on board.
I debated for awhile if I could pull off number four but as we're closing in on the end, I don't think I could do this with three little humans running around.
He was ecstatic but got a little nervous after awhile. Like oh boy, are we ready to do this all over again? lol
We weren’t married at the time and we were both very young. He was nervous but happy.
My husband literally cried with happiness then it was followed with nervousness. He went to every single appointment and He ADORES being a father.
Mine was super surprised and nervous. But then he got excited!
totally excited!! Im only 8 weeks along and we are just trying to soak up all the fun!
He was pretty nervous for the first. It's quite different from what they show in movies.
Our first pregnancy he was excited at first and then terrified. He got over that pretty quickly and we were on cloud nine. I then lost the baby at 9 weeks. With our second pregnancy he was just so happy all around because we wanted to be pregnant so bad!
It was planned, so he wasn't surprised
We found out together both times. My period was a week late for both my first pregnancy and my current pregnancy. Both times he didn’t believe it and so I tested on two different brands to make sure that I was and sure enough I was. He was very happy both times. My daughter was also there when we found out this time around and she was very happy she was going to be a big sister 😀
My husband was elated , he loves kids wants us to have about 10 ... we already have 4 ... I told him that’s enough
My husband was excited and scared . But he made it
My husband didn't believe me at first. It was hilarious and then he didn't know what to say CONGRATS! and I am like are you saying that to me or yourself?!😂
He was ecstatic!! There were days he got super scared and worried but mainly he was excited and could not wait to be a dad
My husband was EXTREMELY excited and overjoyed. It was actually kind of offputting because he's usually so calm and collected, even in the most extreme of circumstance, good or bad.
My significant other was so happy he cried! When I took the test I wasn't allowed to surprise him. He wanted to be the first to look at the stick. He was so thrilled
My husband was excited because we were trying and it took months!
With our 3rd we were both very shocked because baby #2 was only 8 moths old.
First one excited and over the moon. Second one, shocked but happy
Mine was in shock the first time... as was I! I felt immediately excited, and he took a little longer. Which was okay The second time he was much more excited!
Excited, but nervous. Especially with our last one. We both have kids from previous marriages, plus two together.
We had been trying to get pregnant for three years and got pregnant after one cycle of IVF. My husband was POSITIVE IVF wasn't going to work, so when I called to tell him I was pregnant he was so surprised! And obviously insanely excited. Three years trying to start our family was a long time.
I would say my reaction to number 1 and 3 was bad, and his was better? LOL number 2 was planned. Number 1 was with my exhusband and I found out when I was 12 weeks!!!! I freaked out and was hysterical, my exhusband was excited up until 30 weeks then he was gone. My husband now, baby 2 we cried because we legit tried for a month and my husband just wanted me pregnant so bad. And the 3rd one-- Well she was a surprise and I might of cursed him off but he wanted 5 kids so he was jumping up and down-- I still think it wasn't an accident lol
I remember him- laughing hysterically and saying Wow they work. I looked at him with a strange stare, and he's like I never got anyone pregnant before so wasn't sure if my guys would swim or sink - LOL.
He was happy and it was exciting for both of us! We had an excellent pregnancy experience
He was stuck for a while like he had to process the information lol but turned out he liked it 😂
😁 my husband reacted the same way, he was so excited and started to buy some cloths already !
He was stuck for a while like he had to process the information lol but turned out he liked it 😂
He honestly already figured I was pregnant because I would not stop talking about how I just felt like I was. He made me retest a bunch of times but he was never not supportive ever. Having a baby just made us closer anyway!
We found out at the same time, although I wanted to find out on my own and then find a cute way to tell him. He said it was his baby too and he should find out WITH me haha
He was very supportive!
