The hospital provides something like durablast after birth, it would relieve pain but not cure them

IS there any way to permanently get rid of them? I have one that isn't from childbirth but I've had it forever.

Colace to loosen things up to come out smoother!

My mom had hers removed at an outpatient procedure at the doctor. I would just ask your OBGYN for a referral.

Witch hazel pads are a savior. Also stool softners post baby! A must!

My sister suffered from this after birth and said it was horrible! I would say talk to your doctor about it. It is very common and they deal with this sort of thing all the time. I'm sure they would have the best help/tips for you! My sister just suffered through it and eventually, hers went away but I wouldn't recommend doing that.

Did anyone who had this issue during pregnancy have it before? And if so, what is worse or were you able to manage it just the same?

Doesn't witch hazel burn like fire???  If it burns on your face when there is a blemish, I am imagining it burns like fire on your bum bum!

Stool softeners

Kathryn posted this 15 November 2019

The hospital gave me witch hazel pads and I got preparation H to use.  I also continued to use stool softeners until I felt better.  They were giving them to me in the hospital after birth, but it really helped to remain on them for a while
