Fisher Price Rock n Play

A couple of my friends keep bringing up the rock n play and swear by it. I have a 2 month old who is having the hardest time sleeping and I think it is because she hates to lay flat in her crib and she also loves being swaddled. It looks like the rock n play helps to incline them a little bit and is also a little snug like a swaddle? I was thinking about picking up one this weekend and pray it works. Do you have the rock n play or something similar you could suggest for helping my little one sleep that is at a little bit of an incline? She also has a swing but she doesn't seem to like it that much.

It was a life saver for us with my second daughter too! It was the only place she slept for those first few weeks! I think it's safe to use as long as you monitor the baby while he/she is in it.

I loved our rock n play. It was the only way I could get my son to sleep at night. He had reflux and hated sleeping flat on his back. We have another on the way, and if she has a hard time too, I'm going to still use it. I'm just going to go off how baby feels 😊 My sister-in-law said she had the Graco version and loved it.

Reading this makes me so sad! I loved my Rock n Play, but now it is recalled!  Anyone have any good suggestions for a replacement? I know Mamaroos are popular, but I don't want to pay for one! Who here is going to just continue using their old Rock n Play with a bit of precaution? Anyone???

We had the Fischer price animal rocker. My kid loved it..came with reclining position options, vibration mode, the musical crab toy in it was his best...which he still plays with. All were good features to help baby play and also rick the baby to sleep.

I absolutely loved our rock n play. I just sent in for our voucher. I hope to find something else that she’ll love.

Reading this makes me so sad! I loved my Rock n Play, but now it is recalled! Anyone have any good suggestions for a replacement? I know Mamaroos are popular, but I don't want to pay for one! Who here is going to just continue using their old Rock n Play with a bit of precaution? Anyone???

The rock n play is definitely something every mother should have. It is a space saver and really helps baby sleep through the night, it also really helps with reflux issues.

I had 2 babies before the rock and play was invented and my third baby used a rock and play. It was very nice to have and I used it a lot. That being said, please be mindful that you’ll need to transition baby to sleeping in a crib at some point. I tried to make sure the baby slept on a flat surface at least some of the time, if not most. The transition can be rough but the sleep you get with a rock and play is awesome! It’s great for when they have some congestion, too.

I too swear by the rock and play. My daughter had a reflux issue when she was young and the incline really helped keep her comfortable when she was layed down, she could never be flat. I let her sleep in it until she was rolling over on her own and then transitioned her to a mini crib with a firm pillow under the crib sheet.

The rock and play was also a life saver for us! We used it for my daughter who spit up a ton and having her at an incline seemed to help with her tummy issues and it is also super portable for when we would go on road trips. We would just fold it in half and slide it in the trunk.

The rock and play was a life saver for us! Baby did not like being swaddled and did not like laying flat in bassinet. The first night we had him in it he slept for 6 hours straight! I highly recommend. He slept in the rock and play in our room for 6 months and the transition to crib was not nearly as bad as everyone said it would be. We get a rock and play for everyone we know who is expecting!
