Facebook marketplace is great, bought somethings for a bedroom there.
I've used it and I love it. I bought both my ergo carriers on there and it was the best investment. I am thinking about getting baby gates on there right now
It's great. I am always on there and usually get a bargain on things I do find
Craigslist is good too but I like that you can see what the poster has posted on marketplace.
I LOVE it and have gotten so many gently used toys and books for the kids.
Facebook Marketplace has a lot of great finds and I like that you can see the person you are purchasing from.
Facebook marketplace is great, I bought a lot things for my kitchen.
PERFECT for baby stuff! I've gotten rid of a lot of stuff and picked up some new stuff, too. Try a local "Buy Nothing" group, too.
I love it for both purchasing and selling!
I do! I recently just purchased a gently used leather couch set for $175.
I've gotten some cool stuff on there. Favorite finds: a really nice, sturdy desk for $50 - legit would be $500+ in a store from what I've seen. A couch for the play room for $200. I steam cleaned it just to be safe but it's been great. A gliding rocker for $25!!! That's my favorite. Those things are pricey brand new!!
Girl. That's my jam! I've sold some oddball items (old decorations, bulky furniture, etc) but bought some must-haves too. I replaced my old dining room set for only $500. I got a whole new set with six chairs that didn't fit in someone's dining room so they were desperate to make back some of the money they spent. That set is worth over $1500. I know because I stalked it at Mealey's hoping it would go on sale. I've also gotten tons of baby clothes/items for cheap. I can't stomach paying retail for something that's only going to be used for such a short time.
It is a great place to get rid of stuff and to buy stuff!!! I just purchased a jogging stroller on there for $75 and I just sold a bedroom set on there! As any place there can be some scams and crappy stuff but you just have to be careful! Love that place!!
Facebook marketplace is great, I bought a lot cool stuff things for kids rooms. I also bought from a seconds hand store and Craigslist too.
I furnished the bulk of our house from there for super cheap. I landed a new sectional that didn't fit right in an apartment for $600. Retail was $1200! It still had the tags! It was stored in the guy's storage unit under plastic. For the baby I've gotten a lightly used nursery set with a crib, changing table, and little dresser for around $300. I picked up a stroller too for cheap and a swing. I love it!
I use facebook marketplace, local mom group facebook pages, craiglist, and offerup. I have gotten some great things for great prices.
I do! They have great deals, savings, and finds. My boyfriend and I love it!
I do! I bought a swing for my son for $30 on Facebook Marketplace and he loves it! I also use it to sell things occasionally. I sold my car via Facebook Marketplace!
I use it and have gotten so really good deals there. Amazon is always my first go to place.
Yes! I got a Boppy for $10 on Facebook Marketplace!
I used the marketplace to get most of my stuff
I use market place all the time! It is often one of the first places I check for items! I love finding something for cheaper than buying brand new! Just make sure you take someone with you if you go pick anything up. There have been scary stories!
Love using market place for gently used items! Especially for baby stuff since your baby will outgrow almost everything you buy!
Meeeeee!! All. the. time. Also Poshmark for clothes... occasionally I check Craigslist if I can't find it on FB... Letgo and OfferUp are also really good apps with safety measures. I thrift pretty hard core, especially as you can get baby/kid related stuff for up to 90% off retail price, sometimes barely used...totally worth it, since most of this stuff will be used only for a short period of time!
I do! I'm a semi crunchy mom so costs can add up even more at times if you buy new. I found an organic ergo insert for $15! Hubby is also a maintenance guy, and lots of people who move out of their apartments leave stuff for them to take to the trash... Needless to say, he's found a lot of treasures, quite a few of which I have sold for a pretty penny on marketplace.
I use Facebook marketplace a lot. I like it.
Sometimes you can find cheap clothes in great condition for the little ones. They grow out of sizes so quick!
It must be the area I'm in because my FB marketplace is mostly junk or overpriced.
As crazy as it may sound, I do not like Facebook due to the drama usually created on that social media and privacy concerns. But marketplace is pretty awesome. For me its a contradiction in feeling.
I absolutely love Facebook marketplace, I have purchased many items on their from others. But I agree with another on here that FB can be full of drama at times and sometimes can contain privacy concerns even with privacy settings in place.
I have found A LOT of great stuff on FB Marketplace for cents on the dollar. LOVE IT!!!
I think the real question is, who DOESNT love Marketplace?! Its great if you're saving $$$$ buying something you were going to pay for regardless.
I use FB marketplace and the LetGo app. I stopped using craigslist because of the number of scams and bad stuff going on with it. But the others have been great.
I enjoy using facebook marketplace, I have found a lot of great deals! But I have also found great items being sold on the OfferUp and LetGo apps also. A lot of baby needs that were in excellent condition for $30 or less. Most of them were around the $10 range.
I need to look into the LetGo app sounds like. Maybe the stuff on there will be nicer for my area!
I do! But I have sold more than purchased more stuff. Our local sheriff's department offered to let people do meet ups there for sales. I find that to be kinda a comfort! Stay safe! Creepy people out there!
Yes, found a nice dresser for a guest bedroom. Less than $50, just had to repaint it and new handles. But it felt like a brand new piece, because to MY household it was new, technically.
Let us know what you think after trying it......I'm skeptical of weirdos or deals going wrong somehow. I've sold on LetGo and that's worked out well so far but that app has some protections built in.
I am always on FB marketplace to look for some good finds. If you are worried about the sellers, you can check the sellers commerce profile, i think it shows some reviews in there
