I absolutely love Facebook marketplace, I have purchased many items on their from others. But I agree with another on here that FB can be full of drama at times and sometimes can contain privacy concerns even with privacy settings in place.
I use FB marketplace and the LetGo app. I stopped using craigslist because of the number of scams and bad stuff going on with it. But the others have been great.
Facebook marketplace is great, bought somethings for a bedroom there.
Facebook marketplace is great, I bought a lot things for my kitchen.
I do! I recently just purchased a gently used leather couch set for $175.
I've gotten some cool stuff on there. Favorite finds: a really nice, sturdy desk for $50 - legit would be $500+ in a store from what I've seen. A couch for the play room for $200. I steam cleaned it just to be safe but it's been great. A gliding rocker for $25!!! That's my favorite. Those things are pricey brand new!!
Girl. That's my jam! I've sold some oddball items (old decorations, bulky furniture, etc) but bought some must-haves too. I replaced my old dining room set for only $500. I got a whole new set with six chairs that didn't fit in someone's dining room so they were desperate to make back some of the money they spent. That set is worth over $1500. I know because I stalked it at Mealey's hoping it would go on sale. I've also gotten tons of baby clothes/items for cheap. I can't stomach paying retail for something that's only going to be used for such a short time.
It is a great place to get rid of stuff and to buy stuff!!! I just purchased a jogging stroller on there for $75 and I just sold a bedroom set on there! As any place there can be some scams and crappy stuff but you just have to be careful! Love that place!!
Sometimes you can find cheap clothes in great condition for the little ones. They grow out of sizes so quick!
As crazy as it may sound, I do not like Facebook due to the drama usually created on that social media and privacy concerns. But marketplace is pretty awesome. For me its a contradiction in feeling.
I enjoy using facebook marketplace, I have found a lot of great deals! But I have also found great items being sold on the OfferUp and LetGo apps also. A lot of baby needs that were in excellent condition for $30 or less. Most of them were around the $10 range.
I've used it and I love it. I bought both my ergo carriers on there and it was the best investment. I am thinking about getting baby gates on there right now
It's great. I am always on there and usually get a bargain on things I do find
Craigslist is good too but I like that you can see what the poster has posted on marketplace.
I LOVE it and have gotten so many gently used toys and books for the kids.
Facebook Marketplace has a lot of great finds and I like that you can see the person you are purchasing from.
PERFECT for baby stuff! I've gotten rid of a lot of stuff and picked up some new stuff, too. Try a local "Buy Nothing" group, too.
I love it for both purchasing and selling!
Facebook marketplace is great, I bought a lot cool stuff things for kids rooms. I also bought from a seconds hand store and Craigslist too.
I furnished the bulk of our house from there for super cheap. I landed a new sectional that didn't fit right in an apartment for $600. Retail was $1200! It still had the tags! It was stored in the guy's storage unit under plastic. For the baby I've gotten a lightly used nursery set with a crib, changing table, and little dresser for around $300. I picked up a stroller too for cheap and a swing. I love it!
