does anyone have any recommendations for a gift! I always give clothes and toys, I am thinking about something more useful?

i agree with books! try pop-up ones and some that has different textures that can help their sensory development.
I recommend didactic toys, they are great for learning and you can find thousands of them on amazon.
Duplo blocks or books
My twins loved the paint with water books at that age (plus the lack of mess is really nice for moms!)
Books are always a good one for us! Also, any toys that help develop fine motor skills (twisting things together, wooden threading beads, etc.)
Hands on learning type things if toys are a must, character books, color/picture matching games.
Definitely books! And maybe age appropriate art supplies. 2 year olds can start working on their fine motor skills.. just be cautious of small parts for choking hazard.
I agree! Books, books, and more books!
I wold recommend giving away books as a gift. Children learn stuff at such an early age.

Coloring Books,Reading Books,Puzzles, Gift Cards!
I would definitly NOT want stuffed animals!
I think coloring books and art supplies are a great idea for gifts
