My guy was a year but he needed it sooner!
As soon as they need one/you want to! There are places like Cookie Cutters that specialize in little kids hair. They sit in cars and put cartoons on for them and work very fast.
Yikes! I haven't cut mine yet. I'm dying to give my daughter a trim because her hair is still short but long enough to where it's always getting in her eyes. It's not quite long enough to do a nice ponytail yet, so I'm thinking of trimming her bangs.
It's so different for every kid! I know kids who were born with a full head and kids who are still bald at 1 year or more. We are at 19 months and havent' needed a haircut yet. I think she may need one in a few months when her front hair grows more and it gets in her eyes.
We just got our daughters cut, she is a little over two. It was starting to go in her eyes.
Our daughter is 18 months and still no hair cut necessary......it's a little long in the back but not in the front, so it's not in her face or anything. Just going to wait until it's absolutely necessary because I'm scared of getting scissors anywhere near her head!!
